Closely linked to the optimum compressed air station is the structure of the compressed air network, which connects the individual consumers and applications with the main line of the compressed air station via the distribution line. In order to ensure a low pressure loss and operational safety, it is recommended that the distribution line is designed as a ring. This can be divided into several sections in order to shut down parts of the network via shut-off valves. Different materials are available for the pipe network.
In order to keep energy costs for the operation of the compressed air system low, the pressure losses must be minimized.
