Antistatic compressed air nozzles, static eliminators or ionizers are used to electrostatically discharge electrically charged products in manufacturing processes, especially plastic parts, but also wool, for example. This is achieved by enriching the compressed air with ions that neutralize the electrostatic charge. For this purpose, the antistatic nozzle is connected to an electrical power supply. This means that dust can no longer adhere to products and falls off before they are packaged and delivered to the customer.
