The primary function of the compressed air tank is to compensate for pressure fluctuations occurring in the piping network of the compressed air system and to keep the number of switching cycles of the compressor as low as possible. Arranged in the compressed air network, the tank also serves to catch short-term consumption peaks. In addition, it functions as a condensate separator.
